Well I got some good news (and bad ones too) in the past few days. My profile has got me 2 admits and 2 rejects from US universities. I am extremely happy, not because I have an admit, but because both myself and Amey (SIEMENS, PROJECT, SCHOLARSHIP, PLACEMENT Partners) have found ways to tell Siemens "BHOK MEIN JAA", for the great help that they have rendered to us in the past 1 year.
I think Siemens deserves a special post in my blog (will come up in a couple of days).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bhavaspandan and Geetspandan practice is On in full swing. I am struggling to play the chords for some of the singers. Damn it, first of all I have a limited knowledge of the chords and on top of it, these singers change their scales so frequently, pushing all the songs into minor, sharp and flat chords (What a headache!!!). But today I did manage to learn some new chords, lovely RPGO's [for people who dont know, RPGO means to play every note (in case of guitar its the string) of a chord slowly].
The highlight of the day was Bhushan Thite's (our keyboard player) performance of the SHOLAY THEME. Just Mindblowing. No wonder he gives stage shows.
BTW, I played ROO BA ROO (Rang De Basanti) on the guitar today. Wonderful music, just 2 chords throughout. Rahman really rocks and I bow to HIM.
Some news as I wind up: Haridas, Nitin, Shivani, Alok Bhatt have been shortlisted for the second interview in Schneider Electric. Mostly all of them should be selected, I think the interview will be to segregate them into manufacturing and sales. Great news. Wish them ALL THE VERY BEST.

Hi there.
Nice post. Let jam together when I get back - goa, etc. was fun.
Btw, its not RPGO but Arpeggio ;)
Btw, i forgot to ask...which colleges you got admits and rejects from?
Still no news from my colleges.
Sridhar u have a simmering talent for music and I appreciate the fact that u take out time for music from our very busy and hectic engineering schedule.
Also I cannot as yet say bhik mein jaa to Siemens as I have to get the admission confimation. My interview skills are quite poor and I am apprehensive.
Arpeggio it is....
Anyways, all the best!!
Even though I have heard Ru Ba Ru just maybe once ...I personally don't feel that the song has just two chords..
It might happen that the song has two main chords... but then again it might have a lot more chords; probably you cant realise that... listen to the song more carefully....
