Rang De Basanti

Rockin!!! Just Rocking film. Hats off to Rakeysh Mehra.

Rang De Basanti = Dil Chahta Hai + A Legend of Bhagat Singh

I spent 100 bucks for a first row seat, in the corner, Matinee show, SunCity, with speakers blaring into my ears and head aching, but it was WORTH IT.

The only unfortunate part: I have a better voice than Naresh Iyer (Ru Ba Ru). Rahman made a bad choice of singer for the song ;)
What say you???

Sridhar, your being good in singing does not imply Naresh is bad. Naresh has managed to do a decent job. I like the way he started the song "Aye Saala". Rehman is no fool to take him thats for sure.
Well Rang de basanti is OK movie. Not hilarious as Dil Chahta hai nor intense as Legend of Bhagat Singh. But the idea n intentions are right. Bring the audience (the hippie n yippie crowd) by projecting Dil Chahta hai Look n show them the legend of bhagat singh. Nice try. but no repeat value !!!

Obviously my statement was not a serious one, but i just felt there were better singers he cud have used.

There is a reason why I felt like this. To be able to sing this song again is very difficult because it has been recorded in a very casual manner. I always feel that when u sing a song you should try to maintain the style of the singer who has actually sung the song, or else the essense will be lost just like the remixes today. So I believe that this song wud have been better if it wud have been sung in a beter singing style, so that it can be sung by ppl who want to practice a certain style of singing.

In short, Naresh cud have sung the song in a better manner.

I do respect Naresh (considering that he was one of the finalists in Channel V super singer), but again I have my own reservations.

Regards Rahman, I have No Comments, he could have sung the whole song himself and made it superhit. But there is no point questioning the Master of Rhythm and Tunes. He is RAHMAN!!!!

Description
The greatest problem facing the country is that it's finest men - men of character, caliber, intellect, knowledge, vision, dedication – are not in politics and further stand little chance of getting elected given the murky atmosphere of our political life.

It is high time that having regard to the majority of people in power in India, intelligent people make some badly needed changes by being involved in the governance. It is our duty as citizens to take an active part in the formulation of policies and making laws; we would be failing the nation if we do not do this duty.

The total system is flawed and there has to be a new system of Government which encourages intelligent and honest people to be in the position of responsibility of governance and at the same time preventing the criminals from attaining the same.

There is a need to arouse such people to come together on a common platform and make their collective voices heard.

The purpose is to transform India with unified effort.
